If you're having trouble completing a purchase on Jinxxy, this guide will help you understand common issues and how to resolve them.
My purchase attempts are failing. What can I do?
Try these steps if your payment isn’t going through:
- Disable any VPN or proxy services you may be using.
- Restart your browser or device and try again.
- Ensure your payment details are correct (card number, expiration date, CVV code).
- Check with your bank to confirm there are no blocks on your card for online purchases.
If the issue persists, contact Jinxxy Support with:
- Your Jinxxy account email
- Your payment method information. For PayPal your PayPal email address. If you used a credit card the last 4 digits on your card.
Why do I see a pending charge if my purchase failed?
If your purchase attempt was unsuccessful but you see a pending charge on your card, this may be due to:
- Failed address verification or CVV check with your bank.
- A temporary hold placed by your bank while verifying the transaction.
Jinxxy does not collect funds from failed transactions. Banks typically release pending funds back to your account within a few days, depending on their policies.
Why isn't my prepaid gift card working?
Many gift cards require registration on the issuer’s website before they can be used for online purchases.
If your gift card is being declined:
- Check the back of the card for a website where you can register it.
- Ensure the card has enough balance to cover the total purchase amount.
- If a failed transaction placed a hold on your funds, your bank will return the amount based on their policies, which can take up to 30 days.
Why was my credit card declined?
Your card may be declined for several reasons, including:
- Bank-imposed limits on the number of transactions or spending within a certain period.
- Incorrect CVV code entered during checkout.
- Incorrect card details (number, expiration date, or billing address).
- Suspicious purchasing activity, flagged by your bank.
- Your bank invalidated the card due to suspected fraud elsewhere.
What should I do?
- Double-check your card details before retrying.
- Try using a different payment method if possible.
- Contact your bank to ask if they blocked the transaction.
What is the CVV2 code, and why does it matter?
The CVV2 code is the 3-digit number on the back of your card, near the signature area.
- Some banks allow online purchases even if the CVV is incorrect.
- Jinxxy will not process any payment that fails a CVV check.
- If your bank set funds aside for a failed transaction, they will return the amount within a few days, based on their policies.
