Checkout questions on Jinxxy allow store owners to gather additional information from customers before they complete their orders.
These questions can be useful for obtaining necessary details like contact information or preferences needed for processing the order. They can also be used to let a customer know that their purchase might require another paid product to be used.
How It Works
Creators can set up checkout questions that are presented to customers during the checkout process. These questions appear on the checkout page and need to be filled out by customers before they can proceed to payment.
Setting Up Checkout Questions
- Go to the product you want to add questions to.

Click Add a New Question: On the product page, click on Add Question to create a new question for customers. You can enter the text for your question, such as "Please type your Discord name here."

Select Answer Type: Choose an answer type for the question. Available options include Text, Checkbox, and Store Terms.

Make it Required: You can check the box for Answer Required if customers must provide an answer before completing their order.

Save Changes: Once your questions are ready, click Save Changes to finalize them.
You can make a question storewide or product specific to avoid having to ask the same question over and over on each product.
Customer Experience
When customers proceed to checkout, they will see your questions before they can complete their order. They will also be displayed on their receipt.
Creator Experience
When a customer places an order you will have the questions on your email receipt of sale and they will also be available on the orders detail page.
Please note that these questions should not contain any sensitive or personal information as they are also shared with Affiliates and any Product Collaborators.
